ANTI-SMOG FORUM
Every year, winter-time overwhelms us with information about the terrible state of air quality in our country. The main factors thereof are the combustion of low-quality fuels (often also waste) in individual heating systems (home furnaces) in buildings located in the very centre of town, as well as the road traffic gradually increasing from year to year, the considerable majority of which is caused by over 10 years old vehicles. As soon as possible, we must start our fight with smog which negatively impacts our cities, since more than 45,000 people in Poland die every year due to air pollution. The remedy for improving air quality in cities is systemic heat, which should be supported by both state and self-government administration, as well as environmental protection funds.
