SAFE MANAGEMENT OF CHEMICALS IN THE EUROPEAN UNION

The internal market of the European Union provides entrepreneurs with extensive opportunities to conduct business activity throughout the entire integrated area. However, EU regulations introduce numerous obligations and restrictions related to environmental protection, including the management of chemicals. In the panel with the participation of the representative of the Office for Chemical Substances, as well as of experts and advisers from the chemical sector, the following issues will be raised:

• the consequences of Brexit for the chemical industry,
• selected aspects of REACH and CLP regulations,
• safe management of chemicals in the practice of a small-sized enterprise,
• proper storage of hazardous materials.
